White-Tailed Deer and the Leaf | August 2007 |
|
I've presented photo sequences of a cottontail with a large leaf and a young groundhog with a large leaf, and so it only seems fair to present a white-tailed deer - with a large leaf.
The deer appears half-embarrassed to be caught enjoying a munch.

The deer turns to leave, not neglecting the leaf.

| ||
The white-tail decides a rapid exit is best . . .
| ||
| ||
. . . but has the presence of mind to retain the leaf. It must be a good one.
Photography note: The photos were taken with a Pentax *ist D and the SMC 1000mm reflex lens on 24 July 2007.
