A Baby Groundhog and a Big Leaf | June 12, 2007 |
Baby groundhogs have been running around our backyard the past couple of weeks. They appreciate that Sue and I have been slow in removing "wild" cover (which some folks may refer to as weeds).
In this particular sequence of photos, Silvertop perhaps didn't sufficiently estimate the size of the otherwise desirable leaf.

Let's face it. It is a big leaf. And it is a small groundhog. | |

Lots of chewing. | |

Coming to grips. | |

Only a few bites more. | |

It's gone! | |

So what's for dessert? (Marigolds are very tasty.)
Photo note: I used a Pentax *ist D, with the SMC-A* 200mm macro lens. |
