The yellow warbler (Dendroica petechia) is a friend. Every year I come across the same ones (or succeeding generations of the same ones) at the same spot next to the large pond between the Toftrees golf course and the game land.

In spring the male yellow warbler is busy singing.

The only disadvantage in location is that the yellow warbler is generally between the sun and me (i.e., in shadows). The male yellow warbler is all yellow with some reddish stripes across his breast (but in shade, the red is muted).
