Brown Creeper | December 2004 |
|
Come the fall, hunters aren't the only ones wearing camouflage and sneaking around a tree trunk. Welcome to the brown creeper!
Do you see it?
In all fairness, only the top of the creeper's back is visible above. The following photo shows the brown creeper at a better angle. The brown creeper is a small bird that I only noticed by coincidence: Various species of birds were flying and landing or landing and flying in a section of forest. I managed to focus on this particular one, who turned out to be a creeper (characterized by excellent camouflage and a long, curved bill). Photo note: I used a Pentax *istD, with the SMC 400-600mm reflex lens, probably at the 400mm end. The photos were taken on 19 November 2004. |
