| Hoverflies are tiny pollenators, about the size of a pencil or ballpoint pen point - with wings. |

| Trying to photograph anything so small is challenging, since the depth of field becomes minimal when getting very close to one. |

On the other hand, minimal depth of field creates an interesting 3D effect.
