The Fisheye and the Corkscrew Willow: Restful | May 2003 |
Looking up at the roof of the sky, or, from Tolstoy's War and Peace,
Peering through the corkscrew willow, one can hardly tell that this is a fisheye, since the branches are entirely independent of the distortion a fisheye brings into a photo. (On the left you can catch a glimpse of a red maple.)
Photography note: The photo was taken with a Pentax LX and the SMC 17mm fisheye. The Pentax 17mm is a rectilinear fisheye, which helps.
